Shorts pattern. Shorts of a small volume of a straight silhouette, length above the middle of the thigh. On the front parts there are pockets in the side seam with a cut-off side part. There are two pairs of waist tucks on the back part. Hidden zipper closure in the middle seam of the back parts. The upper section is treated with a lining.

Eases added to a pattern, cm:

Waist-line– 13,5 cm;

Hips-line (in the sizes 38-50) – 4,5 cm;

(in the sizes 52-62) – 5,5 cm.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. We recommend using for this model dress-suit, costume materials, thin and medium density, made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers. For example, it can be costume cotton, flax and other materials.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 18 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Garment accessories:

1. Invisible zipper tape 18 cm.

The photos shows a shorts sewed at the GRASSER for pattern №1044.

Model is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Bust-line: 82 cm, Waist-line: 59,5 cm, Hips: 88 cm, Height: 174 cm.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

1. Multipurpose sewing machine;
2.       3 thread overlock machine;
3.       An iron with or without steam;
4.       Regular presser foot;
5.       Invisible zipper foot;
6.       Wooden iron;
7.       Ironing desk or console table;
8.       Hand needle for basting;
9.       Machine needles №80;
10.    Paper scissors;
11.      Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
