Shorts pattern. A free volume men's shorts have a straight silhouette, and a knee-length. Along the side seam, there is a pocket with a cut-off side part. Below on the side seam there is a patch pocket with a flap. There is a knife fold on the front detail along the waistline edge. There is a waist dart and a welt pocket with a flap on the back part. The clasp is a codpiece in the center seam of the front details. The upper edge is processed with an attached waistband, supplemented with belt loops.

Eases added to a pattern, cm:

Pay attention to the amount of additions, they are considered to be for the free volume of the garment. If you want a smaller volume garment, choose a pattern one size smaller.

Waist-line – 9,5 cm;

Hips-line – 14,5 cm.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. For this model, we recommend using suit fabrics with a thin and medium density, made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers. For example, it can be suit cotton fabrics, jeans, linen and other fabrics.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 33 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Garment accessories:

1. Metal attachable hook - 1 pcs.

2. Zipper with the length of 20 cm - 1 pcs.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

Model is wearing a size 46. Model parameters: Bust-line: 105,5 cm, Waist-line: 81,5 cm, Hips: 98 cm, Height: 190 cm.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:
1.       Multipurpose sewing machine;
2.       3 thread overlock machine;
3.       An iron with or without steam;
4.       Regular presser foot;
5.       Hinged cording foot;
6.       Wooden iron;
7.       Ironing desk or console table;
8.       Hand needle for basting;
9.       Machine needles №80;
10.    Paper scissors;
11.      Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
