The details of the cut are very simple, we will not make patterns, we will cut the details instantly on the material.

Depending on the properties of the material and the effect you want, you can place the parts on the grain or cross grain, for effective layout of the parts on the fabric.

Brief technological sequence of sewing pillowcases:
1. Steam the material.
2. Draw the details of the cut on the fabric.
3. Cut out the details
4. Finish each detail’s one short edge with a double hem. Iron the processed section.
5. Draw the flap’s fold on the biggest detail. Bend the part along the intended line and fix it with pins or hand stitches.
6. Add details together, matching their wrong sides. Align all three edges. The flap is placed under the biggest detail.
7. Stitch all three edges.
8. After each seam is sewn press it. Press open allowances on a narrow point presser. Turn the pillowcase right side out. Press the seam flat - without a roll, seam is placed at the fold’s center.
9. Cut allowance to 2-3 mm.
10. Turn the pillowcase right side out, press the seam flat. Trim the allowances with the second line.
11. Press the seam. Fold allowance to any side and press on a narrow point presser. Turn the pillowcase right side out, press the seam flat.
12. Pin or overstitch the edge. Mark out placement of a decorative edge seam.
13. Topstitch.
14. Press the assembled garment.
Pillowcase is ready!
