About us

GRASSER is a design bureau and a school of pattern making and tailoring, staffed and taught by professionals with real-world experience in garment manufacturing.

Founded in St. Petersburg in 2012 as a design bureau, the project expanded in 2013 with the opening of the GRASSER school and the release of our very first sewing pattern online.

We blend classic pattern-making principles with modern techniques, always keeping the people who sew at the heart of what we do. We understand exactly what matters to those taking their first steps, as well as to those striving for professional-level results.

With GRASSER, you will grow: from your first stitches to mastery, and from mastery to new opportunities and your own personal projects. We openly share our knowledge, adapt current trends, and work alongside our community to foster a culture of high-quality craftsmanship.

Reviews

Hi there!
I really like the open shoulders and the flared skirt!. But for me it's also a great look for Sunday church service. Using cotton jacquard was a great choice; so I'll try to make this with the same fabric. Plus, I also appreciate the specifics on materials needed; it made my trip to the store much easier. The dress suits you SO well.

Insulated jacket, pattern №790

I absolutely love  this pattern! Since I could purchase it in my length, it makes it much easier. The fit and style was just perfect, as well as the extensive instruction. I learned new details and so much joy with my wool fabric. I did the complete costume, its my master project. Thank you for this amazing pattern!
