Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4 scale is located on the first sheet of the A4 pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.
Balaklava pattern. Medium size balaklava has stitched placket and collar stand. There are two design versions of center edge and two versions of collar stand length.
- Design 1: narrow neck and roundish top
- Design 2: loose-fitting neck and prominent top.

Length of facial balaklava’s opening (along placket’s edge from neckline to folded edge when balaklava is folded in half): height 152-158= 28,5см, height 158-164=29,1см, height 164-170=29,6см, height 170-176=30,1см, height 176-182=30,7см
Length of sagittal arch (design 1) (from facial opening (placket) along seam of attachment of side parts of balaklava): height 152-158= 42,3см, height 158-164=42,8см, height 164-170=43,3см, height 170-176=43,8см, height 176-182=44,3см

Fabric suggestion: we recommend to use soft plastic woolen or half-woolen knit fabrics of average thickness, 350-480 g/m2 density and 0,80-0,85 stretching ratio.

- Silicone tape, wide 6 mm: 0,60м

For sewing you will need the following equipment:
- Multipurpose sewing machine;
- Two-legged machine foot, walking or Teflon machine foot (depending on the raincoat fabric type);
- Hand needle for basting;
- Machine needles Microtex № 80;
- Paper scissors;
- Scissors for textile cutting.
The pattern in your order will be in two print options:
1. For printing on A4. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4 sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a large format plotter. Details are located on sheet 60x39 см.
