Men's swim shorts pattern. Men’s swimming shorts, with inner briefs. The waistline is lowered by 7 cm. The seat seam is lowered by 3 cm. Side seams are shifted to the front. There are pockets with a welt in side seams. There is a patch pocket on the right back part. There is a false fly piece on the front. The waistline edge is assembled by a fitted waistband with a drawstring and decorative stitching line. An elastic band and a cord are inserted into the waistband. The cord is threaded through holes - buttonholes. The legs’ cutout on the briefs is assembled with elastic tape, for a tight fit to the body.

Eases added to a pattern, cm: Waist-line: sizes 44-52 = 16 см; sizes 54-62 = 17 см; Hips-line: sizes 44-46 = 8 см; sizes 48-50 = 8,5 см; size 52 = 9см, size 54 = 9,5 см; sizes 56-58 = 10 см; size 60 = 10,5 см; size 62 = 10 см.

Amount of main fabric 140cm wide: 44 size: 0,75-0,80 м, 46 size: 0,80-0,85 м, 48,50 size: 0,85-0,90 м, 52 size: 0,90-0,95 м, 54 size: 0,95-1,05 м, 56,58 size: 1,10-1,15 м, 60-62 size: 1,10-1,20 м.

Amount of lining fabric 140cm wide: 44 size: 0,4 м, 46-54 size: 0,45 м, 56-62 size: 0,5 м.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

• Multipurpose sewing machine;
  
• 4 thread overlock machine;
• An iron with or without steam;
• Regular presser foot;
• Wooden iron;
• Ironing desk or console table;
• Hand needle for basting;
• Machine needles №70-80 for the main fabric;
• Machine needles №70 -80 for the lining;
• Paper scissors;
• Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order is in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. It is necessary to print out a pattern on an ordinary printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut out the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a  large-scale plotter. 

The test square for checking the print scale on the plotter is located on the sheet with the details of the pattern.
