Parka jacket pattern. Jacket of moderate volume, the silhouette is tapered to the bottom, with the length to the middle of the thigh, lined and insulated, with a hood. The shoulder line is extended by 4,4-5,8 cm (it depends on the size of the product). Central fastening with a zip, decorated with inner and outer windproof plackets. The outer placket is attached, with a fastening of 4 loops and 4 buttons. In the upper part of the front, there is a slanted slit welt pocket with fitted ends. There is a clasp button fastening on the inner side of the welt. In the lower part of the front, there are slit welt pockets, with fitted ends, and with a flap. There is a clasp button fastening on the inside of the flap. The Back has a fitted yoke and a central seam. The hem has an asymmetrical shape, the centre of the front is shorter than the centre of the back. On the front and back, along the waistline and hem, on the inside of the garment, there is a drawstring that adjusts the fit with a cord and stoppers. The cord is directed to the wrong side of the product through eyelets located on the side seams. There are full length sleeves with downside and elbow seams. The sleeve is completed with an inner knitted cuff. The round neck is finished with a hood. The hood is of moderate volume, with a central part and a wide facing on the front edge. On the side part of the hood, there is a drawstring that adjusts the fit with the help of a cord and stopper. The ends of the cord are directed to the front side through eyelets located at the level of the chin.

Eases added to a pattern, cm:

Constructive ease (Ec)* Bust-line = 22 cm. Hips-line = 28.5 cm. Shoulders = 13,8 cm (for all height in the sizes 38-46) and 14.8 cm (for all height in the sizes 48-52).

Constructive ease consists of ease of package and ease of freedom. Constructive ease is for a garment's outer volume, ease of freedom is for a garment's inner volume.

EF=EC-EP

We used 200 g/m2 density insulation material for our garment.

Ease of package was 5.0cm (Ep)* (may vary depending on a type of insulation material).

Ease of freedom (Ef) Bust-line = 17.0 cm. Hips-line = 23.5 cm. Shoulders = 8,8 cm (for all height in the sizes 38-46) and 9.8 cm (for all height in the sizes 48-52).

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. We recommend using trenchcoat and jacket fabrics for this garment; trenchcoat fabrics with a membrane; trenchcoat, jacket fabrics with soaked in a waterproof impregnating agent.

We recommend using synthetic fibre lining for membrane fabrics, synthetic, blended and natural fibre lining for trenchcoat and jacket fabrics.

Lining fabric. As lining for the front pockets, we recommend using fleece fabrics with the density of 190 gr/m2.

We recommend using faux fur with small and medium pile height as lining for the upper back and hood lining details.

For cuff details, we recommend using knitted fabric with stretchability coefficient 0,80 - 0,85, of medium density or dense, e.g. jersey, ribbing fabric, rib knit fabric, and ready-made cuffs.

To insulate the product, we recommend using new generation synthetic insulators with a protective layer on both sides, for example, ISOSOFT 34 200 g/m2.

Interlining. For better sewing quality, we recommend the use of adhesive interlining. To duplicate the details, you will need fusible interlining with a density of 39 g/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The density of the interlining should be chosen depending on the density of the main fabric. In this garment, additionally, we used a non-adhesive edge stiffener with a density of 90 g/m2 and a width of 90 cm.
