Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4/Letter scale is located on the first sheet of the A4/Letter pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.


Vest pattern. A free volume straight silhouette vest is with insulation and the length up to the middle of the shin. The closure is on the central side with the zipper and snaps. The details has a welt pocket and with stitched on ends. The neck of the garment is round, processed with a high stand up collar (Option 1) or with a hood (Option 2). The hood is of moderate volume, with a central part. The front part of the hood has a drawstring that is designed with an adjustment of the fit using a flat strap. The ends of the strap are brought to the front side through grommets located at the chin level. The garment bottom has a drawstring that is designed with adjustable fit using a strap and a lock. The strap and locks are located on the wrong side of the garment. The supplement to the fitting freedom and the garment silhouette are chosen so that the vest can be worn with the top layer on a coat or raincoat.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:
  • Multipurpose sewing machine;
  • An iron with or without steam;
  • Regular presser foot;
  • Two-legged machine foot, walking or Teflon machine foot (depending on the raincoat fabric type),
  • Hinged cording foot;
  • Wooden iron;
  • Ironing desk or console table;
  • Hand needle for basting;
  • Sewing machine needles № 70-80 MICROTEX (extra sharp for raincoat fabrics);
  • Machine needles №70-75 for the lining;
  • Paper scissors; Scissors for textile cutting;
  • Eyelet press for installing eyelets and press studs, depending on the diameter.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
