Jacket, pattern №826

Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4 scale is located on the first sheet of the A4 pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.

Jacket pattern.  Straight silhouette jacket of medium volume, length is slightly below the hips. Front has princess seams that start from the neckline and finish at the garment’s hemline. Jacket has a displaced fastener with 4 sewn buttonholes and 4 buttons, there is 1 sewn buttonhole and 1 button at the left front part which is matched with a button under the storm flap. There are welt pockets with stitched-on ends in the seams. Right front part has a storm flap which is fastened with a diagonal sewn buttonhole and a button. Back has central seam and a storm flap. Raglan sleeves are long and three-seamed (topside, underarm and front seams), there are double shoulder boards at topsides seams, each shoulder board is inserted into a loop and fastened with a sewn buttonhole and a button. There are sleeve straps at the bottom parts of sleeves, one end of each strap is stitched in to a topside seam, other end of each strap is fastened with a button at the back part of a sleeve. Turn-down collar has a stitched collar stand. Size of the garment’s hem edge is adjusted by a cord which is inserted into a drawstring casing, cord is inserted into grommets and fixed with stoppers. Garment is lined, lining is stitched along garment’s hem edge.

Fabric suggestion: we recommend to use natural rain wear fabrics, synthetic or blended fabrics, fabric can be with a waterproof coating of different types. Use viscose or silk as lining.

Main fabric, wide 140 cm: 38 size: 2,00-2,15м, 40 size: 2,10-2,20 м, 42 size: 2,10-2,30 м, 44 size: 2,15-2,35 м, 46 size: 2,25-2,50 м, 48 size: 2,30-2,50 м, 50 size: 2,45-2,55 м, 52 size: 2,45-2,55 м, 54 size: 2,50-2,60м, 56 size: 2,55-2,70 м.

Lining fabric, wide 140 cm: 38 size: 1,35-1,40м, 40 size: 1,40-1,50м, 42 size: 1,40-1,55 м, 44 size: 1,40-1,60м, 46 size: 1,45- 1,60 м, 48 size: 1,50-1,60м, 50 size: 1,55-1,65м, 52 size: 1,60-1,65 м, 54 size: 1,60-1,70 м, 56 size: 1,70-1,75 м.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

• Multipurpose sewing machine;

• An iron with or without steam;

• Regular presser foot; 

• Hinged cording foot;

• Wooden iron;

• Sleeve board;

• Ironing desk or console table;

• Hand needle for basting;

• Machine needles №90-100 for the main fabric;

• Machine needles №80 for the lining;

• Paper scissors; Scissors for textile cutting;

• Eyelet press for installing eyelets and press studs, depending on the diameter.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4 sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!
