Questions
To set up printing of pattern N645 on A4 sheets, use "Test Square No.2"! The test square is located on the first sheet in the pattern file.
Parka pattern. It’s a women’s straight silhouette knee length parka with heat-insulated lining and removable sherpa lining. Straight silhouette parka has shirt type two-piece sleeves. Neckline has set-in hood. Parka’s closing has outer and inner plackets and a zipper. Garment’s front details have breast set-in single welt pockets and patch pockets with flaps in the area of hips. Each sleeve has a flap located at its downside part, one of the sleeve flap’s hem edge is stitched together with sleeve’s front seam. Parka’s casing can be located either at the lining side or at the garment’s right faces, it’s on your choice. If the casing is located at the garment’s right face then you can fit the garment so your waistline will be more visible; if the casing is located at the lining you can place and fit the lining together with sherpa lining closer to your body and by doing so you will provide better hit-insulation. Edge of the hood also may have a casing detail. Sherpa lining is made from eco fur, sherpa lining may have either buttonholes and buttons or sewn snap buttons.

Fabric suggestion:
Main fabric: we recommend to buy not very thick pile coating fabric with density from 230 to 350 g/m if possible without membrane otherwise you won’t be able to fuse your fabric and do wet-heat pressing. You may use fabrics with water-resistance coating. If possible fabric shouldn’t contain up to 30% of synthetic fibers because they make fabric lighter, moisture-resistant and less crumpled. Don’t buy blended fabrics that may contain cotton or viscose because such fabrics are heavy and closely woven. It’s better to avoid extra weighting because parka comes with heat insolation material. Right fabric type will not get shrunk during the sewing process, also it stays colored and can be in use for a longer time.
Lining fabric: It’s better to choose viscose or silk. Fabric’s density should be from 180 to 220 g/m.
Heat insolation material: heat insolation materials have various names (for example watteline), usually it’s 100% wool or blended fabrics that can consist of wool, viscose and polyester, on average their density is 150 g/m.
Faux fur: It’s preferable to choose synthetic fur with synthetic warp because cotton warp may get shrunk plus fur with such warp is heavy. Fur has to be very soft, light and not thick.
