Trousers "Culottes”, pattern №698

To set up printing of pattern N698 on A4 sheets, use "Test Square No.2"! The test square is located on the first sheet in the pattern file.

Trousers pattern. A loose fitting woman trousers “culottes”, extended downward, with the length up until the middle of the calf. The front part of the trousers has horizontal division that is slightly higher than the knee line. The culottes have patch pockets on the side with the curved line of the pocket entry, and the zipper fly at the front. The back parts have the cutt-off yoke and horizontal division that is slightly higher than the knee line (1 cm below compared to the front part division line). The back detail has patch pockets with the pocket welt with the buttonhole and the button. The upper edge of the trousers is finished with the attached waistband, which fastens with one buttonhole and the button. There are 5 loops on the waistband to support the belt. The waistline is at the natural waist position. The front parts of the trousers have polyteny (rivets) installed at the top corners of the pocket.

General increases, laid in the pattern: Waist: 4,5 см., Hips: 2,5 см.

Fabric suggestion: For this particular garment we recommend to use jeans fabric of the medium thickness and density without stretching or with slight stretching: “denim”, “broken twill”, “ecru”. It can be the cotton, as well as fabrics made of the artificial, synthetic or mixed fibers. The cotton fabric for bias tapes: calico, fabrics such as for shirts or dress.

Main fabric, wide 140см: 38 size: 1,40-1,55 м., 40,42,44 size: 1,45-1,60 м., 46,48 size: 1,55-1,70 м.,  50 size: 1,60-1,75 м., 52 size: 1,65-1,75 м.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

• Standard sewing machine;

• 3 thread overlock machine;

• An iron with or without steam;

• Regular presser foot;

• One-legged (or zipper) foot;

• Wooden iron;

• Ironing board;

• Hand needle for basting;

• Machine needles for jeans/denim – 130/170H-J №80-90;

• Topstitch machine needles – universal №100/16-110/18;

• Paper scissors;

• Scissors for textile cutting;

• Snaps pressing machine to install accessories and polyteny dies and the metal buttons dies depending on diameter.

The pattern in your order is in two print options:

1. For printing on A4. It is necessary to print out a pattern on an ordinary printer on A4 sheets, then glue the sheets, cut out the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a  large-scale plotter. The patterns size 52 are located on sheet measuring 60*227 см.
