DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE MODEL

A loose-fitting skirt with a straight silhouette, length above the ankle, lined. The back part has a center seam. Pockets are located in the side seams. There are slits in the side seams of the skirt. The waistband is one-piece, with a horizontal casing topstitching located 2 cm below the upper edge of the waistband. Inside the waistband, a 3.0 cm wide elastic tape and a drawstring for adjusting at the waist are inserted. The drawstring is brought to the right side through buttonholes located at the center front. The waistline is dropped by 2.0 cm.

Model is wearing a size 42, height 170-176. Model parameters: Bust-line: 84 cm, Waist-line: 65 cm, Hips: 93 cm, Height: 172 cm.

MATERIALS FOR SEWING

MAIN FABRIC. For this model, we recommend using medium-weight suiting and dress-suiting fabrics with no stretch or slight stretch, made from natural, synthetic, or blended fibers. For this model, you can use cotton, linen, wool, and denim fabrics with a variety of textures and medium weight.

LINING FABRIC. For the lining, we recommend using lining fabrics that match the main fabric in terms of the drape and weight. Suitable fabrics may consist of natural, synthetic, or blended fibres.

INTERFACING MATERIALS. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 18 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.
