Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4 scale is located on the first sheet of the A4 pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.


Cap pattern.  Women’s lined cap with a strap fastener.

Eases added to a pattern: Head-line: 0 сm.

Garment Length Measurements, cm: 

1. Length of cap’s topside edge from neck shoulder point to center front edge: 54-55 size: 37,5 см, 56-57 size: 38,9 см, 58-59 size: 40,3 см.

2. Height of cap: 54-55 size: 24,8 см, 56-57 size: 25,5 см, 58-59 size: 26,1 см.

3. Length of strap:  54-55 size: 14-18 см, 56-57 size: 15-19 см, 58-59 size: 16-20 см (Variable at will)

Fabric suggestion: we recommend to use denim fabrics of average density. It can be cotton, viscose, linen and synthetic, semi-synthetic or blended fabrics. You can use main fabric as lining as well.

The size of bucket hat is equal to the circumference of the head.

How to take a measurement: take a tailor's ribbon and wrap it around your head. Place the  ribbon above the eyebrows one and a half or two centimeters, slightly above the auricles so that it passes through the most protruding point on the back of the head. Determine the maximum head circumference. A  ribbon should fit your head tight enough, but without tension.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

  • Multipurpose sewing machine;

  • An iron with or without steam;

  • Regular presser foot;

  • Wooden iron;

  • Ironing desk or console table;

  • Hand needle for basting;

  • Machine needles №80;

  • Paper scissors;

  • Scissors for textile cutting;

  • Press for installing press studs, depending on the diameter.


The pattern in your order is in two print options:

1. For printing on A4. It is necessary to print out a pattern on an ordinary printer on A4 sheets, then glue the sheets, cut out the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a  large-scale plotter.
