Pattern of a hoodie. A slim-fit hoodie with a straight silhouette and above the hipline length. The central front closure features a zipper. The front includes a single-welt pocket with stitched ends. The hem is finished with a 7.0 cm wide attached waistband. The set-in sleeve has a single seam and length below the wrist. The sleeve hem is finished with a 7.0 cm wide attached cuff. The round neckline is finished with a hood. The hood has moderate volume and a center panel. A drawstring casing is incorporated along the front edge of the hood for adjustable fit, with the cord ends threaded through eyelets.

MATERIALS FOR SEWING

Main fabric. We recommend using various medium-density knitted fabrics made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers for this model. For example, knitted fabrics, 2-thread or 3-thread footer, jersey knitwear.

Lining material. For the details of the pocket lining, we recommend using thin knitted fabrics made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers, for example, a jersey knit fabric. The lining fabric must be selected with a stretchability corresponding to the upper material.

Fabric for the cuffs and waistband. If you use fabrics with a low coefficient of stretchability, such as a footer, then for the details of the waistband and cuffs, we recommend using knitwear with a stretchability coefficient of 0.80 – 0.85, medium density or dense, for example, knit ribbed fabrics, and ready-made cuffs and waistbands.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 18-34 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.
