Jacket pattern. Straight, regular fit, lined jacket with the length below the hip line. The closure is in the centre, finished with a facing, with 5 buttonholes and 5 buttons. The front pieces are designed with darts or with the easing. Depending on the size and the material you have chosen, you can stitch the dart or ease it with the iron. The front pieces feature the patch pockets in their lower part. A patch chest pocket is sewn on the left front piece. The pockets are adorned with buttons. The sleeve is set-in, full-length with 2 seams. The garment is designed with the V-neckline.
Eases added to a pattern, cm:
Bust-line - 14,0 cm + model’s widening;
Hips-line - 6,5 cm + model’s widening;
Shoulders - 9,8 cm.

Fabric suggestion:
Main fabric. We recommend for this garment suiting fabrics, thin coating fabrics, which are soft, easy draping and easy to press, such as tweed. Suiting knitted fabrics with little stretch and low plasticity, such as woollen ponte knit, can be used as well. The fabrics can be natural, synthetic or blended.
Lining material. Use the fabrics with density and plasticity suitable for the shell fabric, made out of natural, synthetic or blended fibre.
Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 18 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.
Garment accessories:
1. Buttons with the diameter of 22 mm - 8 pcs.
2. One pair of the attachable sleeve cap pad with the width of 10 mm.
Pattern is given with seam allowances.

Degree of difficulty - "Intermediate”.
The photos shows a jacket sewed at the GRASSER for pattern №995.
Model Kiki is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Bust-line: 84 cm, Waist-line: 61,5 cm, Hips: 94 cm, Height: 177 cm.
The images also shows: skirt on pattern №996.
For sewing you will need the following equipment:
1. Multipurpose sewing machine;
2. An iron with or without steam;
3. Regular presser foot;
4. Hinged cording foot;
5. Wooden iron;
6. Ironing desk or console table;
7. Hand needle for basting;
8. Machine needles №80-90 for the main fabric;
9. Machine needles №70-75 for the lining;
10. Paper scissors;
11. Scissors for textile cutting.
The pattern in your order will be in two print options:1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!
A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.
2. For printing on a large format plotter.
