Raincoat, pattern №908

Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4 scale is located on the first sheet of the A4 pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.

Raincoat pattern. It’s an oversize calf-length trench coat. Front features patch cargo flap pockets. Hemline of front is rounded. Back features a center back seam, shoulder darts and a storm flap. Center back seam at the waistline is assembled as an inverted box pleat. Set-in shirt type sleeves consist of upside and downside details. Length of a sleeve is lower a wrist, elbow seam starts at the cap of sleeve point. Storm flap is attached to the garment along its neckline, shoulder edges and elbow seams of sleeves. Hemline of the storm flap evenly merges into elbow seams of sleeves. Hem edge of the storm flap and elbow seams are finished with facings.There are slits in sides seams, each slit is finished with a placket on the back side. Neckline is roundish and finished with a high collar stand. Center front closure features a zipper and 7 snap buttons, collar stand comes with 2 snap buttons closure. The closure is finished with an inner wind-proof placket. Shoulder line is lowered. Trench coat comes with a detachable hood. Oversize hood features a center part and a big strip for face opening edge. Hood features 9 snap buttons. You can change the garment’s size with a detachable belt with D-rings. There are two belt loops at the side seams. There are decorative stitches along the back’s hemline, plackets of slits, facing of storm flap, strip of face opening edge. Stitches are made in the shape of triangles.

Eases added to a pattern, cm:  Bust-line: 42,6 сm; Hips-line: 34,8 cm; Shoulders: 38 size: 17,1 – 18,6 см, 40 size: 16,7 – 19,7 см, 42 size: 16,3 – 19,3 см, 44 size: 15,9 – 18,9 см, 46 size: 15,5 – 18,5 см, 48 size: 15,1 – 18,1 см, 50 size: 14,8 – 17,8 см, 52 size: 14,4 – 17,4 см.

Finished back length along the center back seam, см: 38 size: 114,0-119,2; 40 size: 114,0-124,5; 42 size: 114,1-124,6; 44 size: 114,1-124,6; 46 size: 114,2-124,7; 48 size: 114,2-124,7; 50 size: 114,3-124,8; 52 size: 114,3-124,8.

Fabric suggestion: for this garment we recommend to use raincoat fabrics that may have different kinds of waterproofing coating or be without it. Fabric can be of different thickness and structures. It can be natural, synthetic or blended fabrics. As lining use fabrics with suitable pliability and thickness to a main fabric, it can be natural, synthetic or blended fabric.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.
