Pattern of a shirt. Loose fit, straight shirt with a curved hem, length below hip line. The shoulder is lowered by 5.6-8.0 cm (depending on the garment’s size). The button placket is in the centre, it is cut-on and has 7 buttonholes and 7 buttons. The left front features a chest patch pocket. The back is designed with a yoke. The sleeve is set-in, shirt type, with lower seam and elbow seam. The hem edge of the sleeve has two soft pinch pleats. It is finished with an attached cuff 6.0 cm high. There is a slit in the elbow seam. The slit of the sleeve is finished with a binding. The cuff fastens with 1 buttonhole and 1 button. The rolled collar has and attached collar stand and it fastens with 1 buttonhole and 1 button. The garment is embellished with ribbons sewn inside the back yoke seam and elbow seams of the sleeve.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. For this garment we recommend using shirting and dressing or blouse fabrics, lightweight suiting fabrics with no stretch or with little stretch, natural, synthetic or blended. Various fabrics will suit for this garment: cotton, linen, denim, woollen fabrics with different textures and density.

For the embellishment use fabrics with properties suitable for the shell fabric, made out of natural, synthetic or blended fibre.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 33-39 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

01. Multipurpose sewing machine;
02. 3 thread overlock machine;
03. An iron with or without steam;
04. Regular presser foot;
05. Wooden iron;

07. Hand needle for basting;
08. Machine needles №80;
09. Paper scissors;
10. Scissors for textile cutting;
11. Bias tape maker, wide 18 mm (for fringe), if desired.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
