Sweatshirt pattern. A moderate volume sweatshirt is of a straight silhouette, and with the length to the hip line. The bottom of the garment is finished with an attached waistband with a width of 7.0 cm. The sleeve is single-seam, sewn in, and the length is below the wrist line. The bottom of the sleeve is finished with an attached cuff with a width of 7.0 cm. The details of the front, back and sleeves are separated by two parallel horizontal sections located below the level of the chest line. The neckline has a round shape and is treated with a facing.

Eases added to a pattern, cm:

Bust-line: 26,0 cm (for all height in the sizes 38-50); 28,0 cm (for all height in the sizes 52-62).

Hips-line: 16,0 cm (for all height in the sizes 38-50); 18,0 cm (for all height in the sizes 52-62).

Shoulders: 16,0 cm (for all height in the sizes 38-50); 17,0 cm (for all height in the sizes 52-62).

Main fabric. For this model, we recommend using knitted fabrics of medium density and dense, sufficiently pliable and elastic. For example: 2-thread footer or 3-thread with fleece, footer 2-thread or 3-thread loop, neoprene, jersey, double-sided knitwear. According to the composition, these can be materials made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers.

Finishing fabric. As a finishing fabric, use fabrics that are suitable for pliable properties to the main fabric made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers. For example, inelastic mesh, chiffon, organza or other fabrics.

Fabric for the cuffs, waistband, and neckband. If you use fabrics with a low coefficient of extensibility, such as jersey, footer, then for details of the waistband, cuffs and neckband, we recommend using a knitwear with a extensibility coefficient of 0.80 – 0.85, medium density or dense, for example, knit ribbed fabrics, garters and ready-made cuffs and waistbands.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Option 2. The sweatshirt is made of the main fabric + the finishing fabric + the knit ribbed fabric. The cuffs, waistband, and the neckband are made of the knit ribbed fabric.

Degree of difficulty - "Beginner”.

The photos shows a sweatshirt sewed at the GRASSER for pattern №1081.

Model is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Bust-line: 85 cm, Waist-line: 63 cm, Hips: 92 cm, Height: 170 cm.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

1. Multipurpose sewing machine;
2. 4 thread overlock machine;
3. An iron with or without steam;
4. Regular presser foot;
5. Wooden iron;
6. Ironing desk or console table;
7.Hand needle for basting;
8.Machine needles Stretch №80 or Super Stretch №80;
9. Paper scissors;
10. Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
