Vest, pattern №773

It’s slim fit below hips vest with lining. Front has princess seams that start from armholes and finish at undercut section of the pocket (princess line is replaced from the bust point). Bust darts emerge from princess seams. Front is double breasted with 2 sewn buttonholes and 2 buttons. There are 2 decorative buttons and 1 sewn buttonhole on the left part of front. 1 button is matched to topside decorative button. Lapels are merging into leading edges. Side pockets are located in undercut sections, pocket opening has little bit volume. Back has central seam and princess lines from the armholes to garment’s hemline. Turn-down collar with attached collar stand opens shoulders (really enlarged neckline, length of shoulder is 3 cm).

General increases, laid in the pattern: Bust-line: 6,0 см, Waist: 6,5 см, Hips-line: 9,5 см + model’s widening, Shoulders: 7,0 см

Fabric suggestion: we recommend you to use suiting cloth of average thickness and density without stretching ratio. It can be wool, synthetic, semisynthetic or blended fabric. Use viscose or silk as lining.

Main fabric, wide 140 cm: 38-44 size: 1,70-1,90м, 46-48 size: 1,75-1,95м , 50-52 size: 1,80-2,00м  

Lining fabric, wide 140 cm:  38-46 size: 38-42 size: 0,65-0,75м, 44-52 size: 0,70-0,80м

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

• Multipurpose sewing machine;
• 3 thread overlock machine;
• An iron with or without steam;
• Regular presser foot;
• Hinged cording foot;
• Wooden iron;
• Ironing desk or console table;
• Hand needle for basting;
• Machine needles №80;
• Paper scissors;
• Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4 sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4 print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter. Details of top for size 52 are located on 2 sheets 60*177см. Details of lining for size 52 are located on sheet 60*68 см
