Questions

Vent pattern. It’s a straight silhouette standard fit quilted insulated lined hip length vest. It features a center front zipper closure, that is finished with an outer placket. There are patch pockets on the front details. The neckline is finished with a collar stand. Front edges of the collar reach leading edges.

CONSTRUCTIVE EASE (EC)

Bust-line: 25,0 cm;

Hips-line: (in the sizes 38-50) – 21 cm;

                (in the sizes 52-56) – 23 cm.

Constructive ease consists of ease of package and ease of freedom. Constructive ease is for a garment’s outer volume, ease of freedom is for a garment’s inner volume.

EC = EP + EF

EASE OF PACKAGE (EP): 4.0 (That ease is added for insulation material, density is 150 g/m2, may differ according to a material type).

EASE OF FREEDOM (EF) (pay attention to this ease in order to estimate the garment volume):

Bust-line: 21,0 cm;

Hips-line: (in the sizes 38-50) – 17 cm;

                 (in the sizes 52-56) – 19 cm.

Garment Length Measurements, cm

Finished back length along the center back, cm: size 38: 65,5-73,9, size 40: 65,6-74,0, size 42: 65,7-74,1, size 44: 65,8-74,2, size 46: 65,9-74,3, size 48: 66,0-74,4, size 50: 66,1-74,5, size 52: 66,2-74,6, size 54: 66,3-74,7, size 56: 66,4-74,8.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. We recommend to use for this garment soft, average density and thin rain wear and coat fabrics; membrane-coated rain wear fabrics; waterproof coat fabrics.

Finishing fabric. We recommend to use a rib knit or kashkorse for collar or ready-made rib details.

Lining fabric. For membrane-coated fabrics use a lining cloth from synthetic fibers, for coat and rain wear fabrics use a lining cloth from synthetic, blended and natural fibers. Use fabrics with same pliability and density as main fabric features, fabric can be made from natural, synthetic or blended fibers.

Insulation fabric. To insulate the garment we recommend to use new generation synthetic insulation materials with protective layers on its both sides. For example you can use 150 g/m2 ISOSOFT 34 or 150 g/m2 hollowfiber.

Duplicate materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material and a side booster. For example you may use 34 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. For better sewing quality, we recommend strengthening some details with a non-fusible facing straightener of 50 g/m2 and with the width of 90 cm.

The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.
