Coat and half-coat, pattern №819

Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4 scale is located on the first sheet of the A4 pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.

Coat and half-coat pattern.  The coat with the mid-calf length. Double-breasted lined coat of small volume slightly expanded to the bottom. The length is given in two versions: just below the hip line and up to the mid-calf. The side seam is missing, the side part is modeled. The front part has breast darts and welt pockets, decorated along the side part line. The upper part of the sleeve cap along the shoulder seam is decorated with attached shoulder board with buttons. The back detail has a center seam and shoulder darts. The sleeve is sewn in and double seam. The collar has the cut-off collar stand. Offset closure with four rows of loops and buttons.

Version №1: The coat with the mid-calf length.

Version №2: The half-coat with the length of a bit below the hip line: 

Fabric suggestion: we recommend to use coat fabrics that are well amenable to the wet-heat treatment. The given model is made of the wool coat fabric with the density of 450 g/m. The lining fabrics could be viscose or silk. 

Main fabric, wide 140 cm, Version №1: 38 size: 2,95 – 2,05м, 40 size: 3,0 – 3,2м, 42 size: 3,05 – 3,25м, 44 size: 3,1  - 3,3м., 46 size: 3,4 – 3,6м, 48 size: 3,5 – 3,7м,  50 size: 3,6 – 3,8м, 52-56 size: 3,65 - 3,85м.

Lining fabric, wide 140 cm, Version №1: 38 size: 2,0 – 2,1м, 40 size: 2,1 – 2,3м, 42-50 size: 2,1 – 2,3м, 52-56 size: 2,75 - 2,95м.

Lining fabric, wide 140 cm, Version №2: 38 size: 1,6 – 1,7м, 40 size: 1,7 – 1,9м, 42-50 size: 1,85 – 2,35м, 52-56 size: 2,35 – 2,55м.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

• Multipurpose sewing machine;
• An iron with or without steam;
• Regular presser foot;
• Hinged cording foot;
• Wooden iron;
• Ironing desk or console table;
• Hand needle for basting;
• Machine needles №90-100 for the main fabric;
• Machine needles №70 for the lining;
• Paper scissors;
• Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4 sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4 print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter. Details of top for size 56 are located on  sheet 60x327 см.  Details of lining for size 56 are located on sheet  60x275 см.
