Coat, pattern №832

Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4 scale is located on the first sheet of the A4 pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.

Coat pattern.  It’s an A-line lower-the-knee coat of medium volume. Shoulder lines are flowing and enlarged. Front has displaced zipper fastener, side patch shaped pockets. Side edge of a pocket is between coat’s side edges. Back has stitched on yoke and a storm flap. There are big symmetric bi-swing pleats with seams along their centers at the back. There is a one-piece drawstring casing at the back along the waistline. There are vents in side seams. Shirt type sleeves (based on a magyar sleeve construction) are long and three-seamed and come with inset details. There are shoulder boards placed along shoulder seams and sleeves. Shoulder boards are inserted into the insets of sleeves and loops. Shoulder boards are attached to the holder straps (made from a decorative tape) of sleeve cuffs by lobster clasp closures and half-rings. Collar stand has half-rings closure. Collar strap on the collar’s right side is made from a corded silk ribbon and finished with an ornamental braid. Collar strap of the left collar’s side is made from an ornamental braid. Collar straps are attached to the collar by ornamental braids. Waistline is adjusted by a belt with half-rings inserted into a drawstring casing at back. Ends of belt are inserted towards front through holes in side seams.

Eases added to a pattern:  Bust-line: 19,5 см; Hips-line: 25,0 см+ modeling widening, Shoulders: 17,5 см

Fabric suggestion: for this garment we recommend to use natural raincoat fabrics, synthetic or blended fabrics, fabrics may have different kinds of waterproofing coating.

Amount of main fabric, wide 140 cm: 38-42 size: 3,80-3,90м, 44-50 size: 4,15-4,30 м, 52-56 size: 4,45-4,60м

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file and in additional file in your order.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
