Main fabric. We recommend using medium-weight and lightweight coating and jacket fabrics for this model; coating fabrics with a membrane coating; coating and jacket fabrics with a water-repellent finish.
For the facing piece, we recommend using faux fur with no stretch or with slight stretch.
Lining fabric. As a lining for membrane fabrics, we recommend using a lining made of synthetic fibers; for coating, jacket, and other fabrics, use a lining made of synthetic, blended, and natural fibers.
Insulation. For insulating the garment, we recommend using new-generation synthetic insulations with a protective layer on both sides – for example, Isosoft 34 with a density of 200 g/m2.
Interfacing material. For better sewing quality, we recommend using fusible interfacings. To interface the pieces, you need fusible interfacing with a density of 33–34 g/m2 and a width of 150 cm.
In cases where high temperature, glue, or a press cannot be used (membrane or waterproof materials), join two layers of fusible interfacing with the adhesive side inward for non-fusible interfacing.
Choose the interfacing density and interfacing methods according to the density and properties of the main fabric.
We used coated cotton fabric and ISOSOFT 34 insulation with a weight of 200 g/m² to make the garment. -
