Jacket, pattern №968

Jacket pattern. Loose-fitting, straight silhouette jacket with hip length. The jacket features a front zipper fastening. The front pieces have a yoke and jetted welt pockets. The welt pocket features topstitched ends and an inner snap fastener closure. The back has a yoke and a centre seam. The hem allowance is 6.0 cm high and it is folded to the right side of the garment with the fur facing out. A topstitched strap with 2 snap fasteners is sewn on the bottom of the garment for its volume adjustment.

The sleeve is set-in, wrist length, with one seam and horizontal sectioning below elbow line. The sleeve hem is finished with a cut-on cuff 6.0 cm high with the fur facing out.

The neckline is round and finished with a roll collar. The collar closes up with a strap with one snap fastener.

Bust-line: 25,8 cm;

Hips-line: 21,5 cm;

Shoulders: 16,5 cm.

Fabric suggestion: 

Main fabric. We recommend natural sheep fur or sherpa fabric with leatherette or suede back for this garment.

Finishing fabric. Use thin or mid-weight faux leather or suede as a decorative material for welt pieces, straps and trim.

Lining fabric. Use the fabrics with density and plasticity suitable for the shell fabric, made out of natural, synthetic or blended fibre.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 34 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Option 1. Jacket is made of main fabric and of finishing fabric

Main fabric, wide 140 cm: size 38: 1,35-1,40, size 40: 1,40-1,50, size 42: 1,40-1,55, size 44: 1,45-1,55, size 46: 1,50-1,60, size 48: 1,55-1,65, size 50: 1,55-1,70, size 52: 1,60-1,75, size 54: 1,65-1,80, size 56: 1,65-1,80.

Finishing fabric, wide 140 cm: size 38: 0,65-0,75, sizes 40-46: 0,70-0,75, size 48: 0,70-0,80, sizes 50-56: 0,75-0,80.

Lining fabric, wide 140 cm: sizes 38-48: 0,55, sizes 50-54: 0,60, size 56: 0,60-0,65.

Interfacing (density 34 g/m2; width 150 cm): sizes 38-56: 0,40.

Fusible on grain tape: sizes 38-48: 0,60, sizes 50-56: 0,65.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Main fabric, wide 140 cm: size 38: 1,50-1,55, size 40: 1,55-1,65, size 42: 1,55-1,70, size 44: 1,60-1,70, size 46: 1,65-1,75, size 48: 1,65-1,80, size 50: 1,70-1,85, size 52: 1,75-1,90, sizes 54-56: 1,80-1,95.

Lining fabric, wide 140 cm: sizes 38-48: 0,55, sizes 50-54: 0,60, size 56: 0,60-0,65.

Interfacing (density 34 g/m2; width 150 cm): sizes 38-56: 0,40.

Fusible on grain tape: sizes 38-48: 0,60, sizes 50-56: 0,65.

1. Metal open-end zipper #5, long 55-70 сm – 1 pcs.

2. Snap fasteners diameter 12,5-15 mm – 7 pcs.

3. 40 mm metal half-ring or 40 mm metal square buckle – 2 pcs.

4. Leather ready-made hanger strap - 1 pcs.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!
