Dress pattern. This dress is fitted, cut at the waistline, falls below the knee. The front has fitted plackets and a 5-button fastening. The back has a sew-on yoke and a pleat on the midline. There are pockets in the side seams. The dress is gathered at the waistline edge with an elastic band. The sleeves are long, fitted, with a single seam, with three soft pleats at the bottom of sleeves, the bottom is trimmed with a cuff with a fastener with two loops and buttons, the sleeve slit is trimmed with a facing. The stand-up collar has a neckband with a fastener with one buttonhole and a button. The garment is complemented with a removable waistband.

Waist-line – 14,0 cm;

Hips-line – 9.0 + model’s widening;

Shoulders – 5,0 cm.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. We recommend using lightweight drapey non-stretch dress fabric, or fabrics with a slight stretch, for the given garment. The fabric may be made of wool, silk, viscose, as well as artificial, synthetic or mixed fibres.

Interfacing materials. To gain better quality while sewing, we recommend you to use a thin adhesive interfacing material. For interfacing, a knitted interfacing material with a density of 15 g/m2, a width of 150 cm. Choose the density of the interfacing material depending on the density of the main fabric.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Garment accessories:

1. Buttons with the diameter of 1 сm – 10 pcs.
2. Elastic band, 0.5-0.7 сm wide (length of an elastic tape depends on your waist circumference and a desired fitment).

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

Degree of difficulty - ”Intermediate”.

The photos shows a dress sewed at the GRASSER for pattern №671.

Model is wearing a size 42, height 164-170. Model parameters: Bust-line: 84 cm, Waist-line: 63 cm, Hips: 93.5 cm.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

Multipurpose sewing machine;
3 thread overlock machine;
An iron with or without steam;
Regular presser foot;
Wooden iron;
Ironing desk or console table;
Hand needle for basting;
Machine needles №80;
Paper scissors;
Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
