Bomber jacket pattern. A line free volume jacket is with the silhouette narrowed to the bottom, the length is just below the waistline. The shoulder line is expanded by 6,5 - 8,0 cm (depending on the garment size). The central clasp has 7 snaps. The front part has a dart from the hemline that is formed by combining the chest dart with the waist one. There is a welt pocket with the stitched ends in the seam of the dart. There is a pocket with the hidden zipper clasp along the seam of attaching the lining to the front facing. The back is with the cut off side part. The garment hemline is treated with a knitted attached waistband with a central part made of the main material, 5,5 cm high. The sleeve is sewn in, single-seam, shirt type, and a full length. The lower edge of the sleeve is processed with an attached knitted cuff, 5,5 cm high. The round neckline is processed with a knitted neckband. The garment is completed with individual shoulder pads made from a set of cushioning materials. Depending on your desire and the chosen material, the jacket can be processed with or without shoulder pads.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. For this model, we recommend using fabrics that hold the shape. For this model, you can use: raincoat cotton fabrics, cotton twill for outerwear, dense denim fabrics, linen suit fabrics, jacket and thin coat fabrics, eco-leather. According to the composition, these can be fabrics made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers.

Lining material. As a lining, use materials with the pliable properties and density that are suitable for the upper material made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers.

Finishing material. For the cuffs, waistband, and collar, we recommend using knitwear with a stretchability coefficient of 0.80 – 0.85, medium density or dense, for example, knit ribbed fabrics, and ready-made cuffs and waistbands.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 34-39 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing.

The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Interlining material. For this garment, additionally, for making the shoulder pad, the following materials are used:

— non-fusible interlining for strengthening with the density of 212 gr/m2 and the width of 160 cm;

— fusible interlining for strengthening with the density of 97 gr/m2 and the width of 90 cm;

— shirt fusible fabric with the density of 103 gr/m2 and the width of 90 cm.

You can change the set of interlining materials at your discretion.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Garment accessories:

1. Snap with diameter of 12-14 mm - 7 pcs.

2. Hidden zipper with the length of 20 cm - 1 pcs (for the internal pocket).

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

Model is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Bust-line: 84,5 cm, Waist-line: 64 cm, Hips: 91 cm, Height: 174 cm.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

1. Multipurpose sewing machine;
2. An iron with or without steam;
3. Regular presser foot;
4. Hinged cording foot;
5. Invisible zipper foot;
6. Wooden iron;
7. Ironing desk or console table;
8. Hand needle for basting;
9. Machine needles №80-90 for the main fabric;
10. Machine needles №70-75 for the lining;
11. Paper scissors;
12. Scissors for textile cutting;
13. Snaps pressing machine to install accessories press studs, depending on the diameter.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
