Pattern of a dress. Fitted, A-line jersey dress with ankle length. The side edges of the front are drafted with an ease in sizes 38-50 and with bust darts in sizes 52-62. Depending on your fabric and selected size you can sew the dart or convert it into an ease. The front is designed with a U-neckline. The neckline and the armholes are finished with bands. The length of the shoulder seam is 4.3-6.1 cm, including the bands, and depends on a selected size.

Eases added to a pattern, cm: Bust-line: 3,0 сm. Hips-line: 8,8 сm.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. For this garment we recommend using lightweight and mid-weight knitted fabrics with various stretch factors, which are light, easy draping and creating soft pleats. The fabric may be made out of natural (wool, cotton, silk), artificial (viscose, modal), synthetic or blended fibre. For example: single jersey or modal knit.

Please, note, the garment is fitted. Use the knitted fabric with sufficient stretch.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

The photos shows a dress sewed at the GRASSER for pattern №1149.

Model is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Bust-line: 81 cm, Waist-line: 61 cm, Hips: 92 cm, Height: 174 cm.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

1. Multipurpose sewing machine;
2. 4 thread overlock machine;
3. An iron with or without steam;
4. A coverstitch machine (if desired);
5. Regular presser foot;
6. Wooden iron;
7. Ironing desk or console table;
8. Hand needle for basting;
9. Machine needles Stretch or Super Stretch №70-80;
10. Paper scissors;
11. Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
