Sundress pattern. Sundress with straps, small volume, flared silhouette to the bottom, mid-calf length. The sundress is divided into upper and bottom parts by an asymmetrical horizontal line located between the waistline and the hip line. The upper part of the front and back with vertical reliefs from the armhole. The upper edge of the front and back is decorated with a straight line, along the back the line is located above the level of the shoulder blades. Front and back with two pairs of straps. Fastening of straps on the back along the center and edges of the part, along the front - along the edges of the part. The width of the straps is 0.7 cm. The bottom part of the front is divided into central and side parts by relief. The central part is shorter than the side ones and is presented in two lengths. The reliefs of the upper and bottom parts of the front are located on the same axis. Upper sections of the bottom side of the front and the bottom part of the backrest with intensive assembly.
Eases added to a pattern, cm:

Bust-line – 4,0 cm;

Hips-line – 28,0 cm  + model’s widening.

Fabric suggestion: 

Main fabric. We recommend using for this model magpie, blouse, thin and medium-density suit fabrics, without stretching or with a slight stretch, knitted fabrics of medium density. According to the composition, these can be materials made of natural, artificial, synthetic or mixed fibers. A variety of cotton, linen, denim fabrics, jersey knitwear, with a variety of textures are suitable for this model.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 18 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

The photos shows a sundress sewed at the GRASSER  for pattern №1036.

 Model is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Bust-line: 84,5 cm, Waist-line: 64 cm, Hips: 91 cm, Height: 174 cm.   


For sewing you will need the following equipment:
1.       Multipurpose sewing machine;
2.       3 thread overlock machine;
3.       An iron with or without steam;
4.       Regular presser foot;
5.       Wooden iron;
6.       Ironing desk or console table;
7.       Hand needle for basting;
8.       Machine needles №75-80;
9.       Paper scissors;
10.    Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
