The pattern in each size is in five ranges of height: 152-158, 158-164, 164-170, 170-176, 176-182 cm.

Coat pattern. It’s an oversize straight silhouette lined calf length double-breasted coat with buttons. Front features set-in welt pockets with stitched-on ends. Neckline, armhole and side edges of the 38-52 sizes feature areas that are have to be shrunk out. Sizes 54-62 feature a neckline and armholes with areas that have to be shrunk out, also they come with a dart that begins at the side seam. You can sew darts or shrink them out – all depend on a fabric you choose and size of the garment. Back comes with a center back seam. Shoulder line is lowered for 7.0 cm. Set-in full length sleeve comes with two seams. Turn-down collar features a collar stand. Coat has a detachable buckle belt and two belt loops at the side seams.

Bust-line – 27,0 cm + model’s widening;

Hips-line – 21,0 cm + model’s widening;

Shoulders – 20,0 cm.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. We recommend to use for this garment model coat fabrics of average thickness and density, soft, pliable, with or without nap, well steamed fabrics (there are areas to be shrank out or stretched out). It can be fabrics from natural, synthetic or blended fibers.

Lining material. As lining you can use fabrics with same properties that main fabric features (pliability and density). It can be fabrics from natural, synthetic or blended fabrics.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 55 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Garment accessories

27 mm diameter buttons – 10 pcs.
20 mm diameter button (inner) – 1 piece.
10 mm diameter button (will be attached to the opposite side of the bigger one) – 6 pcs.
50 mm inner diameter buckle - 1 piece (for detachable belt).

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

Degree of difficulty - "Advanced”.

The photos shows a coat sewed at the GRASSER for pattern №999.

Model Kiki is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Bust-line: 84 cm, Waist-line: 61,5 cm, Hips: 94 cm, Height: 177 cm.

The images also shows: trousers on pattern №906, turtleneck sweater on pattern №893.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

Multipurpose sewing machine;
An iron with or without steam;
Regular presser foot;
Wooden iron;
Ironing desk or console table;
Hand needle for basting;
Machine needles №80-90 for the main fabric;
Machine needles №70 for the lining;
Paper scissors;
Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
