The dress is divided into an upper (a bodice) and a lower (a skirt) parts. The dividing seam is straight across the back, while at the front it has a shaped line rising from the side seams towards the center. The front bodice features two bust darts and a center seam. There is a slit in the center front seam. The back bodice features a center seam and waist darts. The grown-on sleeve has a soft shape with a moderately deep armhole. There is a slit in the underarm seam. The sleeve length is above the elbow. The front skirt has two pleated waist darts. The back skirt features a centre seam and waist darts. The lower part of the dress is designed with side panels, eliminating the traditional side seam. There is an invisible zipper closure in the center back seam. The round neckline is finished with a binding.
