Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4 scale is located on the first sheet of the A4 pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.


Dress pattern. Dress of a semi-fitted silhouette, with a tapered skirt, hits just above the ankle. The front has a centre seam, with a separate side part, the bust dart is moved into an ruching along the waist line; it has a V-neck, with stitched-on plackets with a fastener for 6 (4) buttonholes and buttons. The back has a separate part along the waist line. The upside part of back along the waistline is slightly gathered. The bottom part of back has a centre seam and curved seams, from the waist to the bottom of the garment. The sleeves are long, set-in, one-seam, along the bottom of the sleeve there are two smooth pintucks, the bottom has a stitched-on cuff with a fastener for 2 (1) buttonholes and buttons, the hem is decorated with a wide flounce. Stand collar. The bottom section of the dress is finished with a wide flounce. The waistline is raised at 3 cm. The top of the armhole corresponds to the shoulder point. The garment is completed with a detachable belt with a decorative element and a buckle.

Fabric suggestion:  For this garment, we recommend using flexible dress fabrics and thin suiting non-stretching or slightly stretching fabrics that drape well. In terms of material, it can be silk, viscose, as well as fabrics from synthetic, semi-synthetic, or blended fibres.

Interfacing material. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example you may use 15 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing; 32 g/m2 density 150 cm. width woven interfacing.The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Main fabric, wide 140 cm38,40 size: 3,60-3,70м, 42-46 size: 3,65-3,85м, 48,50 size: 3,70-3,90м, 52-56 size: 3,80-4,00м.

Interfacing (density 15 g/m2; width 150 cm): size 38: 1,05m, size 40: 1,10m, size 42: 1,15m, size 44: 1,20m, size 46: 1,25m, size 48: 1,30m, size 50: 1,35m, size 52: 1,40m, size 54: 1,45m, size 56: 1,50m.

Interfacing (density 32 g/m2; width 150 cm): size 38-56: 0,35m.

Fusible bias stay tape with stabilizing stitching running through it: size 38: 5,20m, size 40: 5,30m, size 42: 5,40m, size 44: 5,50m, size 46: 5,60m, size 48: 5,70m, size 50: 5,80m, size 52: 5,90m, size 54: 6,00m, size 56: 6,10.

Edge fusible tape: size 38: 3,05m, size 40: 3,10m, size 42: 3,15m, size 44: 3,20m, size 46: 3,25m, size 48: 3,30, size 50: 3,35, size 52: 3,40m, size 54: 3,45m, size 56: 3,50m.

Attention! The consumption of all necessary materials is given on average, taking into account the five growth ranges. And also with a small margin in case of material shrinkage and errors during cutting and sewing.

Accessories:
1. Metal or plastic buckle for the belt, width of 3 cm – 1 piece;
2. Eyelets with a diameter of 7mm - 5 pieces;
3. Buttons:
— Buttons with a diameter of 10-15 mm – 10 pieces (6 buttons on the placket and 2 buttons on each cuff).
or
— Buttons with a diameter of 18-20 mm – 6 pieces (4 buttons on the placket and 1 button on each cuff).

On the pattern the placement of buttonholes is given for the button with a diameter of 12-15 mm (6 buttons on the placket, 2 buttons on the cuff). If desired, you can choose buttons of a different size and change their placement according to their size.
In our garment we changed the placement and sewed 4 buttons with a diameter of 20 mm on the placket and 1 button with a diameter of 20 mm on each cuff.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

The photo shows a dress sewed at the GRASSER bureau for pattern N781. 


For tailoring you need the following equipment:
- Multipurpose sewing machine;
- 3 thread overlock machine;
- An iron with or without steam;
- Regular presser foot;
- Wooden iron;
- Ironing desk or console table;
- Hand needle for basting;
 -Machine needles №80;
- Paper scissors;
- Scissors for textile cutting;
- Eyelet press for installing eyelets, depending on the diameter.
The pattern in your order is in two print options:

1. For printing on A4. It is necessary to print out a pattern on an ordinary printer on A4 sheets, then glue the sheets, cut out the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a  large-scale plotter. The patterns of top 54 size are located on sheet measuring 60*276 см. The patterns of lining are located on a sheet measuring 60*184 см.
