Insulated trousers, pattern №883

Use the Test Square to adjust the print scale! A test square for checking the A4/Letter scale is located on the first sheet of the A4/Letter pattern file. The test square for checking the plotter scale is located on the pattern sheet in the plotter file.

Insulated trousers pattern. Regular fit, straight, lined and padded full length women’s trousers. The front pieces feature slash pockets with a zipper. The back pieces have waist darts. The back of the attached waistband has a tailored upper edge, the height of the waistband increases toward the centre. Straps with slide buckles (D-rings) and snap fasteners are placed on the sides for the waistband adjustment. The closure of the trousers has a zip in the centre front seam and 2 snap fasteners on the waistband. The lower part of the trousers’ lining has a windproof cuff with an elastic placed around its lower edge. The waistline is in its natural place.

Eases added to a pattern, cm:  

*Constructive ease (Ec)*: Waist-line: 13,2 см, Hips-line: 8 cм.

*Ease of package (Ep)*: 5,0 см (may vary depending on a type of insulation material). We used 200 g/m2 density insulation material for our garment.

*Ease of freedom (Ef): (Pay attention to this increase in order to estimate the garment volume!): Bust-line: 27,5 см; Hips-line: 25,0 cм, Shoulders:  17,5 см.

*Ec = Ep + Ef

Finished length along the side seam: 38 size: 100,2-108,8; 40 size: 100,4-117,8; 42 size: 100,6-118,0; 44 size: 100,8-118,2; 46 size: 101,0- 118,4; 48 size: 101,2-118,6;  50 size: 101,4-118,8; 52 size: 101,6-119,0; 54 size: 101,7-119,1; 56 size: 101,8-119,2, 58 size: 101,9-119,3, 60 size: 101,9-119,3; 62 размер: 101,9-119,3.

Fabric suggestion: we recommend for this garment soft light and midweight raincoat and jacket fabrics; raincoat fabrics with membrane, jacket fabrics with waterproof coating. You can use a quilted jacket fabric for this garment. We recommend using synthetic lining fabric for membrane fabrics, and lining made of synthetic, blended or natural fiber for raincoat and jacket fabrics. For the garment’s thermal properties we recommend new-generation synthetic insulation materials with double-side coating, for example ISOSOFT 34 100 gsm.

Amount of lining fabrics, wide 140 cm: 38 size: 1,35-1,45 м; 40,42 size: 1,35-1,55 м; 44-48 size: 1,40-1,60 м; 50 size: 1,50-1,75 м; 52 size: 1,55-1,80 м; 54 size: 1,55-1,85 м; 56,58 size: 1,65-1,90 м; 60 size: 1,75-1,90 м; 62 size: 1,80-2,10 м.

Insulation material of 100 g/m2 wide 140 cm: 38 size: 2,25-2,40 м; 40-48 size: 2,30-2,65 м; 50-58 size: 2,35-2,65 м; 60,62 size: 2,35-2,70 м.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
