Skirt, pattern №963

Skirt pattern. Tapered skirt of mid-calf length, it is lined. The skirt has a shaped hem. The length of the front panel is shorter than the back panel. Front and rear panels have vertical relief seams, a basque and a wide hem facing. The yoke of front and back parts is shaped like the bottom of the skirt. There are pockets in the side seams. It has a sew-on belt, cut with 6,0 cm width. The upper edge of the waistband fits 3,0 cm below the natural waistline. The zip closure is situated in the middle seam of the back skirt.

There are two options for lining in the skirt:

Option 1 – detachable short lining.

Option 2 – fitted lining.

Fabric suggestion: 

Main fabric. We recommend using natural or faux leather or suede, twill fabrics with different water-resisting qualities or without them. For this garment you can use denim, velvet, thin or medium-weight suiting, coating materials with different texture.

These can be fabrics from natural, synthetic or mixed fibres.

Lining fabric. For lining you can use the fabrics that suit the qualities and density of the upper material from natural, synthetic or mixed fibres.

Insulation fabric. We recommend using synthetic insulation with a protection layer from each side, for example, ISOSOFT 34 60 gr/m2.

Interfacing materials. Option 1. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example you may use 34 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Option 2. For better tailoring we recommend using a side booster with a non-adhesive density of 50 g/m2, a width of 90 cm.

Non-fusible facing straightener of 50 g/m2 and with the width of 90 cm: size 38: 0,90-1,00, size 40-46: 0,95-1,15, size 48-58: 1,05-1,20, size 60-62: 1,10-1,25.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Garment accessories: Plastic invisible zipper tape №3, long 20 cm - 1 pcs.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
