The size of this pattern is from 38 to 56 (it's Russian sizes, see size chart)

The pattern in each size is in five ranges of height: 152-158, 158-164, 164-170, 170-176, 176-182 cm.

Dress pattern. A slim-waist off-shoulder dress of small volume, with a bodice connected to the skirt at the waistline, unlined, above-knee length. The front of the bodice is designed with princess seams, the back of the bodice – with a centre seam and princess seams. The upper edge of the front and back is straight and finished with a wide facing fold to the right side. The edge of the skirt which is connected with the bodice has a dense gathering. An invisible zipper is sewn in the centre seam of the back and facing.

Eases added to a pattern, cm:

Bust-line – minus 7,0 cm. Waist-line – 2,0 cm.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. For this garment we recommend using mid-weight and heavy-weight knitted fabrics with a good drape and stability. Use the knitted fabrics with the stretch factor of 0.8-0.9. The fabric may be made out of natural (wool, cotton, silk), artificial (viscose), synthetic or blended fibre. For example: dressing or suiting ponte knit.

Please, note, the garment is fitted and it has negative ease in some areas. Use the knitted fabric with sufficient stretch.

Embellishment fabric. As an embellishment, for the front and back skirt panels, you can use dense suiting or dressing fabric, smooth or textured, with no stretch and with some body, for example, jacquard or taffeta.

Lining material. As a lining for the skirt use fabrics with properties suitable for the shell fabric, made out of natural, synthetic or blended fibre.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 33 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Pattern is given with seam allowances.

Degree of difficulty - ”Intermediate”.

The photos shows a dress sewed at the GRASSER for pattern №1086.

Model is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Bust-line: 81 cm, Waist-line: 61 cm, Hips: 92 cm, Height: 174 cm.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

1. Multipurpose sewing machine;
2.       4 thread overlock machine;
3.       An iron with or without steam;
4.       Regular presser foot;
5.       Hinged cording foot or Invisible zipper foot;
6.       Wooden iron;
7.       Ironing desk or console table;
8.       Hand needle for basting;
9.       Machine needles Stretch No 70-80 or Super Stretch No 70-80 for the main fabric;
10.    Machine needles No 70-80 for the lining and embellishment fabric;
11.      Paper scissors;
12.     Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
