Pattern of a dress. A small volume dress is of a semi-fitting silhouette, with a slight extension to the bottom, with an open back, sleeveless, unlined, floor-length. There are no shoulder seams. A front is with princess seams from the armhole, with one-piece straps and drapery. The breast dart is moved to the center of the neckline to form a drape. The drapery is fixed with a detail imitating the knot of a tie. The neck of the front is finished with a shirt collar with a cut-off collar stand, with a closure for 2 hinged button loops and 2 buttons located behind the collar stand. The back has a center seam, vertical princess seams and two waist darts. The upper edge of the back is located above the waistline. It has a V-shaped line. The armhole of the front and the upper edge of the back are trimmed.

MATERIALS FOR SEWING

Main fabric. For this model, we recommend using pliable, well-draped, soft-creased dress, blouse fabrics without stretching or with a slight stretch. Fabrics with satin weave, including fabrics with crepe structure, have greater pliability. In terms of composition, it can be silk, viscose, as well as fabrics made of artificial, synthetic or mixed fibers.

Finishing fabric. For the details of the collar stand and collar, we recommend using shirt, dress and blouse fabrics without stretching, made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 33-34 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The following interfacing is recommended shirt fusible interfacing fabric 103 g/m2 density 110 cm. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.
