Dress pattern. A lined small volume dress with a semi-fitting silhouette. The front side closure is shifted towards the left side, it has 5 button loops and 5 buttons. The front has princess seams from the armhole, chest dart and pocket. The chest is from the princess seam. The pocket is located below the waistline in the right princess seam. The back is with a center seam, a shoulder dart from the shoulder seam, and princess seams from the armhole. There is a vent in the center seam of the back (Option 1). The sleeve is sewn in, double-seam, full length, with a closed vent in the elbow seam. The neckline of the front has a square shape.

Eases added to a pattern, cm:

Bust-line – 7,0 cm. Waist-line – 17,2 cm. Hips-line – 7,8 cm. Shoulders– 7,0 cm.

Fabric suggestion:

Main fabric. For this model, we recommend using suit fabrics for this model, thin coat fabrics, soft, pliable, amenable to wet-heat treatment, such as tweed. It is also possible to use knitted fabrics of the suit-coat assortment, with a small stretchability and low plasticity, for example, wool jersey. The fabrics can be composed of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers.

Lining material. As a lining, use fabrics that are suitable for pliable properties and density to the upper fabric made of natural, synthetic or mixed fibers.

Interfacing materials. For better quality of sewing, we recommend to use the interfacing material. For example, you may use 18 g/m2 and 34 g/m2 density 150 cm, width woven interfacing. The density of the interfacing material depends on the main fabric density.

NOTE: We recommend using interfacing with a density of 18 g/m2 for reinforcing seam allowances when sewing with loose materials, such as tweed and chanel.

Attention! Given exact fabric consumption can be used only when pattern details are placed on a fabric sheet close to each other. All pattern details should be arranged on an opened fabric sheet strictly on grain in one direction, each pattern piece must be cut out only once.

Degree of difficulty - "Intermediate”.

The photos shows a dress sewed at the GRASSER for pattern №1068.

Model is wearing a size 42. Model parameters: Model parameters: Bust-line: 81 cm, Waist-line: 61 cm, Hips: 91 cm, Height: 173 cm.

For sewing you will need the following equipment:

1.         Multipurpose sewing machine;
2.       An iron with or without steam;
3.       Regular presser foot;
4.       Wooden iron;
5.       Ironing desk or console table;
6.       Hand needle for basting;
7.       Machine needles №85-90 for the main fabric;
8.       Machine needles №70-80 for the lining;
9.       Paper scissors;
10.    Scissors for textile cutting.

The pattern in your order will be in two print options:

1. For printing on A4/Letter. You need to print the pattern on a regular printer on A4/Letter sheets, then glue the sheets, cut the pattern and you can sew!

A test square for checking the A4/Letter print scale is located on the first sheet of the pattern file.

2. For printing on a large format plotter.
